EPG says “No information”? Check the guide, not just the stream.

Why a channel can play while its programme schedule stays blank—and what to check next.

Playback and programme data are separate

The EPG is a schedule feed mapped to channel IDs. It can be missing or out of sync even when video plays normally. If you have no picture at all, start with the playback checklist instead of spending time on guide settings.

Check in this order

  • Refresh the playlist and the EPG source inside the player. Wait for the update to finish before judging the result.
  • Confirm that the correct EPG source is enabled for the correct playlist. Adding a guide URL elsewhere does not automatically attach it to every channel.
  • If only a few channels are blank, compare their channel IDs or guide mapping. If all times are shifted equally, check device timezone and any player offset.
  • Test the same authorised playlist in another supported player. If its EPG works there, compare player configuration before replacing the source.

When to ask for help

Tell support which channels are blank, whether playback works, the app and device you use, and the most recent successful guide update. Send a redacted screenshot if helpful; hide login details and full playlist addresses.
