Describe the direction of the delay

A voice arriving before the lips move is different from audio arriving late. Note whether the gap is constant, grows over time or appears only after a pause or catch-up playback. Write down one example with the channel and time.

Isolate the part that drifts

• Switch to another channel and a VOD title. If only one source is affected, keep the adjustment local to that source and report it.
• Try the same content on a second supported device or player. A difference between devices points toward the local playback chain rather than proving a source failure.
• If you use a soundbar or AV receiver, briefly compare TV speakers with the external audio path. Keep a note of the original TV and player audio settings.
• If your player offers audio offset, make a small change on one affected channel and recheck. Do not apply it to every channel unless the delay is consistent everywhere.

Escalate with evidence

Tell support whether the sound leads or lags, which channels are affected, the device and audio output path, and what happened on the comparison test. Some player versions move settings, so use the current app’s audio controls rather than following an outdated menu path.
